i have just begun on the xbox 360. I clocked Diablo 3 original version and LOVED it!

started RoS with Crusader and so far its....okay. Don't yet see anything revolutionary. but i had posted a similiar thread on another fourm and guys all said that i need to play thru ACT V and the modes thereafter to truly enjoy the new content.

so anybody else here playing RoS on a console? would love to hear your thoughts

Was sent the PS4 version for review even though I don't have one. So it's just sitting in the drawer.

What's it like compared to PC?

well, i played the PC version of D3 for a short while, but it never really grabbed me. The console version on the other hand, was fantastically addictive! i really enjoyed the fluidity of movement thanks to the right analog stick. also liked having all my powers neatly organised around my controller.

I had a great time with D3 on my X360.
Been contemplating getting it on PS4, but I can't warrant spending R900 for a button mashing game. Yes, this type of game is mindless fun, but that's exactly it. There's no progression desire for me and simply just becomes a button-mashing-loot-whoring game.

It is indeed a good game. I played the PC version at launch and being a big Diablo fan enjoyed it a lot, but that does not even compare to how much I enjoy D3 on PS4. Like I have told most people that have asked me - D3 was meant to be played on console.

To answer your question Hiro:
RoS has a lot of things to do after ACT 5, with rifts to complete and bounties and other little things that open up on each new difficulty level. First play through I thought I would just get to hard mode and then lose interest, needless to say I have been playing it a lot, even while waiting for Destiny. I think my crusader is on Torment 2 now and Paragon level 80. The 2.1.0 patch will also be making its way to console within a few months adding even more things like Goblin Vaults.

If you like grinding and getting nice loot, then you will enjoy playing Adventure mode with the bounty system and rifts.
