What movie did you last watch thread.

I've seen both and they are different movies for different audiences. Limitless is a bit more of a "smart" take on stimulant abuse, while Lucy is a total sci-fi / action / almost-super-hero take on it. It meant to dazzle, not stimulate.
Well it dazzled me, so goal achieved :D. Sure it made little realistic sense, but as a popcorn movie I really enjoyed it.

That's the thing - you're supposed to scarf down a box of popcorn and a jug of slushi while being amazed at the CGI of the movie and rooting for the heroine. It's not an intellectual movie AT ALL and the wife and I went into it with that mindset. Suffice to say, we enjoyed it a lot!

Spoiler below if you haven't seen the movie, if you have, then highlight:

I don't know, the ending was a bit of an anti climax for me, she literally turned herself into a flash drive.

It was an awesome looking flash drive though.

Recently watched The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Wasn't impressed. I blame the fun I had reading the book. They changed too many things, removed to many important stuff. :(

Finally decided to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (only one I've watched). Quite comical and entertaining.

Bruuuuh. 1994 SF was the best, man.

Also really enjoyed Transcendence, Very interesting idea...

Seems like I'm the only one who didn't enjoy it. Bored me so much that I fell asleep...

We watched Edge of Tomorrow last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Tonight it's The Signal. It's been a while since we've had the pleasure of watching some sci-fi movies.

Im to scared to watch Edge of tomorrow - Im not a Tom Cruise fan. . . . he freaks me out.

Transcendence was good to watch, especially since it was a different Johnny Depp than what we have gotten used to. I prefer him in this kind of role.
