Hehe, obviously there's some good LAN players. But you start getting better when you play online.

I remember at r@ge2006 we played a LAN only clan in the BF2 comp. Out of a possible 200 tickets that we could lose, we only lost 2. :eek:

Shame, at least they tried. :o

Im not sure who the regulars are but I know that my bro in law is really good. He almost always finishes in 1st place.

When we played Team Death match if it werent for the guys on my team I would have been drilled everytime i respawned lol... played alot of Free for all though needing the practice for the next comp :D

dude that is so true. cause as I said this mate of mine, Friggs. We used to lan alot back in the day of COD1, COD2 and Doom3.

He was never a bad player, but I allways won if you know what I mean.

then he moved away, so we kinda lost touch, and he moved back a while later and got DSL, started playing online.

when we hooked up again Icould not touch the oke in COD4, He used to own me like I own the guyz at my LANS. BADLY he would get like 60 and I would get like 10-15, it was that bad.

then the more I played against him, learning his online style, and the more big lans I attended, I got better, and better.

and now he does not win me :)

so yeah thats why I wanna get online, cause some of those okes are JEDI!

Free for all is the way to go if you plan on getting better..im sure maplassie would agree with me. Its a bit faster and more action packed and it tends to put your senses on high alert because you don't have team mates watching your back!!

But Free for all in Hardcore :)

We only play hardcore. No map, no HUD, extra damage, really keeps you on your toes.

We dont play normal mode at all. I use the ACE mod, so if we play Domination I just enable the map in hardcore. and I put the spawn delay on instant for free for all and 3 seconds for domination

but yeah what you say is 100% true

Pezbot, download it at filefront.

Or you can use a mod like ace or AWE

then in the console type /set scr_testclients 20 to add 20 bots to your map

they are really retarted thought just stand around shooting straight infront of them and move all weird.

butthe oke that does pezbot is apparanlty doing a decent job of getting them playable.

I use the bots to test my maps I make!

That's just it. The level is just so much higher, it forces to either adept or fall away completely. For instance, I absolutely hate playing Search & Destroy mode.... HATE IT!!!! :mad: It reminds me too much of CSS.

BUT, it's what's played in comps. So now I've forced myself to play S&D when it on and I'm a better player for it. :)

I love hardcore, takes up 90% of my COD time, but I still play normal mode every now and then.

They may just stand around waiting to get shot but don't let them spot you. :eek: They got some meanass aimbots...... headshot you accross the map.

yeah dude that is true hey.

While testing my map I get so cheesed off cause I want to see the clearence between shit with a model/ bot in place and oh look 900meters away a bot with a knife.

head shot.

probably threw me with it and pulled out his weapon afterwards just not to cause a scene:mad:
