What movie did you last watch thread.

I watched Oculus this weekend its a horror but its not that scary very psychological though all in all decent

Into all kinds of horror movies epescially faux camcorder mockumentary movies ala Blair Witch Project
Most notable movies I've watched this month is
V/H/S - Scariest most awesome faux camcorder movie to date! And I'm not just saying this - believe me. I'm not gonna hype it up too much because my friend did it for me and I was kinda disappointed. Watch this! Anthology of scary short stories if you will with an overarching main story. Can't wait for V/H/S 2 coming out this year... (don't watch the trailer it spoils the movie for you)
The Collector - A supposed Saw prequel turned into a fully fledged movie. I really, really enjoyed this one. Again, I'm not just saying this because I'm kinda disillusioned with everything and at the end I was impressed. Very scary. Very smart movie. Watch it.

Watch the collection

End of watch - my rating 8.5 out of 10

Brilliant Movie it doesnt have the hollywood clear coat, it a grimy type of raw semi realistic movie which i really like. im not a fan of jake gyllenhall but his acting in there was top notch, and anna kendrick

Finished the movie today. I agree with you on the soundtrack.
It's a cool side project for spike Jonze. He was dating the singer who composed the soundtrack - she is the lead singer of the Yeah Yeahs. If you get a chance check out being John Malkovich and Her :)

Just finished watching Lone Survivor with Mark Wahlberg. I must say, if you like war movies, this is a must see! One of the most gripping movies I've seen in a while. Actually kept me tense the whole way through.

Started watching Sin City: A Dame to Kill For last night, but my wife didn't enjoy it at all. We only got about 15 minutes in. :(

I'll be rewatching it again soon, as I love noir-style movies

Watched Planes 2 with the family, much better than the original Planes movie.

Awesome! I didn't even know there was a second. My son watches the first religiously, like every day! Sometimes even more than once a day, so it's time for a change ;)

Watched the new Godzilla last night. Too much talking and not enough giant monster bashing. That said, not a terrible movie. Also watched Maleficent with my daughter. I really enjoyed the fresh take on the story. And I love what they did with the song (once upon a dream) when the credits start rolling.

The new Godzilla was true to the original Japanese films, unlike that 2000 Matthew Broderick monstrosity...

About the new Godzilla, I truly didnt enjoy it, it seemed to be filled with random scenes stuck together. I prefered the Matthew Broderick and not sure about the japanese one, havent seen it.

One thing though, I liked what they did with Godzilla. That was unexpected.
