I blame heavy metal and people who get mind-washed into believing it's edgy which in turn makes them create games like this.

The same can be said for any music genre. Metal doesn't inspire hatred and violence, certain bands in the genre do. Many (or most) don't. Listen to Circus Maximus' album Nine for some positive, even inspiring, lyrics.Heavy Metal doesn't inspire love, happiness, roses and babies; but killing all mentioned.
Thank you. I was going to say something but had to restrain myself. Comments like that really urk me.The same can be said for any music genre. Yeah, I meant tour comment on Hagan's comment. I am a metal head through and through. Was classed as a satanic at school because as such. Needless to say, I am Christian. You can't insult my favourite music genre and get away with it.
I believe (or rather hope) Hagan was only being sarcastic, as I honestly believe only the most ignorant people still believe that metal is "from the devil" and its sole purpose is to drive you to all kinds of "cide". And that's coming from me, a Christian.

The hardest Metal I listen to is Godsmack or Disturbed.
It's not too hardcore and I enjoy a lot of the lyrics in their songs. But, Black and Death Metal, if Death exists, is just TOO DAMN hardcore - for me!![]()
But what's wrong with metalcore. There are some decent metalcore bands out there. No no no no no! You never use "metal" and "hardcore" in the same sentence. You end up with... *shudder* metalcore *shudder*
As I said, it depends entirely on the band and lyrics. Hip hop, rap, pop, rock, punk and all those fake electronic music genres can be just as destructive. It all depends on the message the artist or band wants to portray.

Fair enough, different strokes for different folks and all. My point still stands though.Let's not derail this thread completely. I just can't stand hardcore vocals and breakdowns in metal. It ruins the ambience and composition and if there's ONE (ok, two) thing(s) that make a song stand out, it's atmosphere and flow. These two elements form a perfect harmony in a GOOD metal song, so you can't really split them up, hence me referring to it as one thing.

I enjoy most metal. In fact, I enjoy most genres of music in general. Whether that's Metal (and it's countless sub-genres), hip-hop, rap, classical, dubstep, 80's pop, etc. If it sounds good to me I will listen to it. Metal is still (and will always be) where my heart is though. And so does mine.Glad you enjoy some semblance of metal at least.

You can hear the vocals with Disturbed and Godsmack, that's not edgy.
Check out the bands they are fans of, that's "edgy".
Edgy in this case, being the sound of cats making love slowed down, being accepted as "vocals".
This is a game of extremely bad taste, made by people with an extremely bad taste in music.
