  • Are they regular MP3's? Are you able to play them on more than one PC? Because itunes and Ovi both have DRM so that you can't.
Yeah I could, but that was only due to some smart IT dude at HQ pressing some buttons and changing some stuff. I haven't tried in a while since I get most of my stuff off Nokia store now.
Hey dude, yeah I have heard of them, they specialize in trailers as far as I know, but I've never actually really explored their music outside of that. The track you linked is freakin awesome !
I've just checked their site, they have more albums than I thought. I also see they've moved to Remote Control studios, which is Hans Zimmer's new company. I'll definitely look in them much more :)
There are loads of cues from ACB that I love, unfortunately I haven't gotten the full album yet, it definitely has a more cinematic and ominous tone as AC2. The Venice Rooftop theme is a standout for sure, didn't take to it at first, but it grew on me. The theme was used once so far in ACB as far as I can recall.
Yeah Hans Zimmer was the guy who got me into the genre, the first CD I bought that wasn't metal, was The Rock soundtrack! I've since bought pretty much everything he's released (Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons - do yourself a favor!)

My favorite composer is James Newton Howard, you should check out some of his stuff.
Haha I know....on the subject - curse your Codex Edition! :p
Never had probs with Amazons mp3's in my experience :) They did do some changes to their formats recently.
    Uh......sorry? :p

BTW have you tried MP3 downloading on Amazon? Going to try get the Brotherhood score off there over the weekend.
Hahaha yeah dude I'm terrible with names in that game, they all sound the same :p

The music falls under film scores and game scores (or contemporary classical if you want to get technical) and I've been collecting them for years. The thing with Itunes is debatable though, it is apparently not available but myself and some people I know can use it - although I can only do it from my work internet for some reason.. If you can track down Killzone 2's score that is totally epic.
I used to get them from Soulseek - but stopped because as a composer (in hobby at least) I felt it was hella bad karma so I stopped :D
Last thing I did was release that woman from prison and have an epic EPIC fight in the street (awesome mission that). So at least I'm moving forward now.
Re the UC2 soundtrack, I have it on itunes along with a few others, was suprised to see someone else who likes that kind of thing.
Ok got further just now, spoke to the architect and then the memory sequence ended
Anyway I'm on my way again.

BTW did you ever track down that Uncharted 2 soundtrack?

I have never actually played anything MP on the PS3, i guess the fact that I dont have a head set puts me off...
Hey I wouldn't mind giving it a bash. But I need to get myself a mic first.
