You seem like the person to talk to when it comes to Risen. Can you give me some information / feedback?
How does Risen compare to games like Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls? Story, characters, combat, etc.?
Is it needed to play Risen 1 before 2?

Have you tried Wake of the gods mod for heroes 3? Its epic. Adds so much to the game. And that is good news. Awesome that things are coming right for you

Oh, I am. There's just no point in freaking out about it. I have loads of stuff to work through in the meantime and Risen is one of those games I'd like to dedicate some TLC to, so the wait will be okay

I was hoping for something similar to Risen 1 but I guess developers also want to branch out and try new things. Perhaps I'll pick it up after a few months when the price drops a lil. Thanks for the feedback!
Oh, I don't know if you're interested, but War in the North is going for $10 on Impulse. They give you a key to activate on Steam.
Na I havn't picked it up, forcing myself to play the games I've already bought I am keen to hear your view on Risen after giving it some solid play, I know you are a huge fan of the series!

Hehe, yeah. MyGaming has given me hardware, games and clothing by now. Now all they need is a comp for free food the I'm set.
Oh, and I wasn't exactly that lucky in the competitions. My name came up in both draws, but it would be unfair if I won two, so I had to choose between the two prizes.

Some But mostly hoping to avoid any spoilers. I want to experience it "new" without any expectations or suspicions of "what next."
