so i currently had an old SD PVR. But its very noisy and runs super hot. I want to get rid of it and buy a cheap HD Decoder (see they going for under 500 bucks). here is my question. will my current twin lnb cable setup work with the new decoder ? Or is there some other cabling required ?

My dad is looking at getting a new TV. he saw a 50" UHD for about 13k and a 55" LED for around 12k (from Makro). I don't think there is any benefit to getting the UHD and i think he should rather get the 55" LED. what do you guys reckon ?
