This sounds like Anonymous' way of saying "hey everyone it was totally us" without providing any evidence which Sony could use if they were to ever catch up with them.
I suppose we all knew that it was them. They did say that Sony was going down.
Meh, it doesn't sound like anonymous. Then again anyone can call themselves part of anonymous, so who knows. I'd imagine something of this proportion took more planning and time than the few weeks anonymous had been going for though.
Couscous; the food so nice they named it twice
I started a thread not two days ago saying this very thing. The best way to hurt a corporate is to put their customers at risk. Anonymous wont do anything with the "stolen customer data" so the best way to tell that it's not them is if the data is used in any criminal activity, ie. credit card fraud etc.
Who is Anonymous really though?
I love these guys , taking a international mega super duper in your face super power company and make them squeeel ..
I have to say , i am impressed , you would have to be blind to not see the skill in bringing a company like Sony into global shame.
And to think it all started when 1 guy wanted to open the ps3 platform to his devices.
I do however hope that anonymous wouldn't stoop to such a level to steal credit card information ,
it did wake up the industry though ..
Like running scripts ?
Ok j/k, but been down that road before it's a lot of dedication, study and application there of. You don't just know how to [email protected] by running a few pre-prepped applications/scripts. Furthermore it's far from those nice flying files as per hackers![]()
