New iPhone probably being announced next week

I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal about this news. Although I am excited about the new iPhone, the news of it coming is no surprise and has been rumoured for months. :)
 
Quite frankly there isn't much difference between the iPhone 4 and the 5. The display is going to change by a fraction, you're getting 786mb of RAM, your processor is slightly faster, it's 0.5inches smaller, the retina display and camera have upgraded by 2mega pixels and obviously it has the iOS 5 but that can easily be untethered and for us on iPhone 4 it will be released soon and/or probably when the iPhone 5 is released. :)

Dude where did you get this from?

I know there's speculations all over the net, but nothing official yet...

I for one can't wait to see what apple's got up their sleeves!

You just made me feel better about JUST buying an iPhone4 on the weekend, Sycoboy...
 
Got my IPhone 4 for a couple of months now and quite happy with it. Could'nt be bothered less if a new one came out tomorrow. The phone I have does what I want it to, if I want gaming I have a pc and a XBOX for that.
 
TBlaar Steve Jobs has had to force himself into early retirement due to him struggling with Cancer and it's not good at all...

Ye ye, but what i mean is that no one knows for sure whats going to be announced....really. So Apple puts out a cryptic message with the word iPhone, and people are already drooling over possibilities - about something that might happen. Only Apple can do that with such hype :D

Yeah, I understand this, but what I mean is more that software development is planned ahead for, say, a year, with ideas and requirements basically at 99% completion. I am sure that the new releases coming out in a year from now is already being worked on, which was Steve's doing.
