I hope this means I will be able to play with the keyboard and mouse now. The camera movement in that game feels really weird with the mouse.

I don't think it's too little too late for everybody. Maybe for the first adopters, yes. But for guys like me who've held out, it's becoming more and more plausible to buy the game. Like I said, once the patches are all out and the mods are available to make this game look as good as it should have looked in the beginning, I'll pick up my copy for PC. Probably for cheaper as well.

Gamers (generalizing here) should stop moaning and start waiting a little longer before buying something. It's one trick that's basically saved my gaming lifestyle and has brought in nothing but benefits financially AND with the expectations I have with games.

That kind of attitude is why things like this will keep happening. Telling people to stop moaning and rather buy the games later is putting a plaster on a wound that needs stitches.

I agree with this. Acceptance and complacency, in all aspects of life, is the first step to being fucked over again, and again. And again. Stop taking the bad things for granted and stand up for yourself for a change. This game being released in the state it was is NOT OK.

And Neo, good luck waiting for the price to come down. If you're not getting lucky during this Steam Summer Sale, you're going to wait a loooooooong time for the price to come down.

It's only complacency when you allow it to happen again and again. If you withhold payment until the game is of sufficient quality you aren't being complacent, you are being clever. Being complacent is moaning about every buggy release yet buying every new game on release anyway.

Basically what I'm saying is take a wait-and-see approach more often before buying something and then moaning about it. Sorry gents, but this whole mentality of "vote with your wallet" does sweet blue f'all to big corporations. They'll release a game when they want to, in the state they want it. They don't care whether or not you're happy with it. So if you go out, after all that's happened in the industry lately, and still pre-order games - then you only have yourself to kick if those titles turn out to be bombs.

It's fine by me if the masses go out and buy the game on day one and moan about bugs etc. Generals don't rush out with first line infantry for a reason. It depends on how smart you want to be with your money. That is all.

All I'm hearing is "shoulda, woulda, coulda"...with more perfect-world jabbering. Back in the old days, games came with "artists impressions" pictures of what the game looks like on the back of the box. Gamers knew that they weren't going to get that in-game. What happened to gamers using their brains for the actual PURCHASE of the games as well?

What about those of us who agree with you that we should stop pre-ordering, but also think that what Ubisoft has done here is unacceptable (and that Watch Dogs isn't that great a game in the first place)?
