10 Best co-op games of all time

Of all time - this would not be my list:

I would surely have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 somewhere in the mix, Duke 3D, Gauntlet, Blood, Hexen, PayDay, Borderlands 2 and Trine and Left4Dead can stay, Double Dragon, Ultimate Alliance - from the top of my head. If you into flight Sims - some of the Jane's titles, Lock On, X-wing vs Tie Fighter.

Anyway - that is my opinion - All time is a long time. :-)

Agreed...seems "all time" is "this century".

Yeah, the difficulty with choosing criteria for rankings like this is that Metacritic doesn't have any data before 1995. It's some of the best data we've got, though.

Portal 2 definitely deserves its spot, as does L4d2, not sure I'd pick Torchlight 2 over Diablo 3. Honorable mention to Divinity Original Sin EE.

No Castle Crashers?

My buddy is gonna pick up Orange Box next steam sale, so maybe I'll try for the Portal 2 co-op finally...

Edit: n/m. orange box only contains the first Portal...

Diablo is a good call. I liked Dungeon Siege as well. Would swap Hexen for Heretic come to think of it

Divinity Original Sin? Co-op was one of the design cornerstones of that game.

Most won't agree with me, but I liked RA3 and I really liked being able to play the whole game in co-op.
