I've done Cryptonomicon, Foundation and 1984. All three are excellent reads, but Cryptonomicon stands out. It is big book. Big enough to defend your home with but you will not be disappointed if you push through.

So, Sci-fi fans, how many have you read?

I've read Dune, 1984... and that was a long time ago so I'd probably have to reread them to remind myself of the details.
