My layout is as such that ... If I do buy the X-530 ... Placing the rear speakers may be a problem. I'd wall mount it, but I'm not sure the length of the cords. I'd need at least about 5 - 10 meters, depending on how high i want to mount them.
I can get an RCA extension. Any Audio/Visual place should have it. Everyone makes the cables to their system so short. How small do they think the average room is, providing such short cables. The cables for rear speakers are more like 3m so that might be a problem.
I wonder an extension cable is a possibility, if it isn't it should be because it would be good. Check around and see
A close friend of mine is willing to sell his X-530s to me for R400.00. He's only had it for a coupla months, no way I'm saying no. And, if all goes well... I'll be getting it tomorrow
Upgrading from Divoom X-Force 1 2.1 to Logitech X-530 5.1 ...![]()
He randomly messaged me (Whatsapp) to tell me he's planning on selling his speakers... So I'll humour him. Besides... It's a flippin bargainNice, so glad to discover there is a price on how much you will bend to the 5.1 side![]()
They are indeed. Had to find the best placement for the rear speakers. Handles bass much better than my other sub. It's so much more immersive than 2.1. Was playing Dead Space last night; sounds were so good, it felt is if I were there with Isaac. I want these speakers to hold me as long as possible
I love them.
Also... I wouldna had these speakers today if my friend hadn't considered selling them...I knew you would, hence the reason why I suggested them in the first place![]()
LOL! Sure will... One day.Well give that man a Bell's
Is normal to be hearing a humming sound coming from the speakers? Actually, I think it's just the sub, but it might be the speakers as well.
The problem persists. It seems that when the main cable from the main speaker is attached to the sub, the humming begins. Tried connecting just a speaker to a wall plug (alone0), but the problem still persists. Running out of ideas.Try turning the bass off on the sub, try disable the sub as well to check, But very slight humming maybe. I sleep with the speakers on often and don't hear anything.
