2 Neat games on the horizon.....

Been Keeping an eye on these 2 titles, both can turn out to be Killer Multiplayer titles, focussing more on objective based gameplay like COD Promod and Counterstrike.

Depth

Depth is an Indie game being developed with Epic's recently released UDK toolset. Depth is dubbed as an "Aquatic Stealth" game. Imagine Sam Fisher spent his time dodging sharks, instead of terrorists, and you're on the right track. Two teams of players square off, in a totally underwater level with very different objectives.

Diver Team

Your goal is to descend into the ocean, and locate a valuable artifact or treasure, usually hidden inside a wreck. You must then bring the treasure back to your staging ground (An Anchored ship, for example)

Shark Team

Your goal is to prevent the divers from carrying out their objective. By tearing them apart.

If this sounds simple, it is. Depth aims to offer an accessible multiplayer experience, while allowing for some (pardon the pun) depth, and sneaky tactics. Some of the complexity of this game will come from the particular traits each team has. These will be further broken down by selectable "classes".

Primal Carnage

Combining the fast paced action of an all out multi-player FPS, and the need to accomplish specific objectives by each team member to complete a section of each level, Primal Carnage® will raise the bar for co-op gameplay.

With immersive, high fidelity sound, stunning visual and enviroments, late night pizza will be the call from your team members as you attack the next level. Can you be the top ranking Merc or Jurassic crew in the world?

Human Class Summary:

The mercenaries specialize in working together as a squad and rely heavily on their arsenal and equipment.

There is a system in place called the Nemesis System which will easily inform the player of each class's own strengths and weaknesses.

Dinosaur Class Summary:

The dinosaurs rely heavily on teamwork and unique activated abilities.

Yeah! Dinosaurs I can't remember the last time I was in a game with one, the industry needs more of them *nods*

Definitely going to keep an eye on these.

LOL mappy "neat" ...you really showing you age there ;)

1st one sounds interesting, 2nd one, lame.....

The first title is a little......different. Perhaps enough so to be interesting. I have dreamed of being a shark, swimming around a tropical paradise, dining on these creatures who flounder about in my element....

There was another dinosaur game.....no, not Turok.....um.....oh yes. Trespasser.
I wonder how this one will turn out and whether there will be biomechanical dinosaurs
with rocket launchers attached to their armoured flanks and a set for a....oh wait....this has been done before.

Primal Carnage looks like adecent FPS with a difference. Reminds me of the BBC TV series, "Primeval"
