250GB HDD Prices for OLD XBOX 360

With all the new games that are being released in the next few months I feel it will help to have a HDD for my 360...RAGE's 22GB install and the subsequent DLC for RAGE, Skyrim, etc. make me feel a HDD is necessary.

I have the old XBOX 360 and currently only have 512MB storage ( ), so I have been looking for a 250GB HDD for my XBOX. I have only been able to find it in SA for a (relatively) good price of R877 (including VAT). Most international prices seem to fall inline with this price but have higher shipping costs.

Does anyone know of cheaper prices that these 250GB HDD's go for? Any general advice for buying a XBOX HDD?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Sorry I dont know the prices and stuff, but i just want to know because I also have the older xbox.
Does the new xbox HDD word with older xbox?

you can try bidorbuy ... some of the drives arent original xbox ones tho ...

another route which i chose was to get the xbox casing by itself and get a 250gb western digital 2.5' drive and make it work with xbox ... cheapest option in my opinion though i'm not sure if it can be posted here
