Pfft there's a backpack on the ground with a big sign that says: EMPTY and next to it lies a samurai sword and Jan decides to take the empty backpack. You guys don't stand a chance with that reasoning. He's probably going to fill the backpack with big rocks and then drown in the frozen lake.

LOL. While my ghost is sitting here quietly camping and contemplating my navel, and the spear sticking out of it, and drawing up my Arya-inspired kill list...
Does anyone know why there's never been a game based on the Hunger Games, and specifically on the arena event? I know Lionsgate have/had an interest in Telltale Games, and there may be something there eventually, but I'm thinking more in line of a multi-player arena melee combat style thing, with elements of survival, crafting, alliance strategy, etc.

Not sure - but it sounds like something I will enjoy. Come to think of it: I would even enjoy a proper amazing race game on pc or console - duking it out between other contestants around the world or locally. Is there something like that which I have missed?

The first day in the Arena begins:
Malice runs into Darthmol while traversing the forest, they get into a standoff, but Malice manages to baffle Darthmol by doing the slidy "pulling my finger off" trick with his hands, while Darthmol stares in amazement Malice manages to escape.
Flex gathers fruit from some trees, scurvy is a real danger.
Donisia doesn't see the point in all this violence and wants no part of it, she begs FarligOptredden to take her life, but he declines, keeping her alive for another day.
Mclyle is peacefully walking along a river, when OUTTA NOWHERE TOM APPEARS WITH THE RKO!! Grabbing Mclyle's head and slamming it into a rock, just to be safe he double taps, making sure he won't wake.
Edelweiss plays it cautious while Techthief looks around for some fresh water.
Blazzok confronts Wenzdayz while she is planning her survival route, she turns around and yells "Friendly!" but it's too late, Blazzoks mace connects with her temple.
Talentloos gets accustomed to his bow while Avantar retreats into the bushes.
Wyvern cups her hands together and makes some type of pigeon bird horn noise, as Solitude investigates the sound like a mindless henchman from Metal Gear Solid, she runs past and grabs his supplies.
Oltman sneaks around looking for other tributes to ambush, while Jan gathers firewood for the night.
Alientaker appears behind Ike_009 brandishing a sickle in one hand, Ike feels a presence behind him and slowly turns around, without thinking, Alientaker raises the sickle and with both hands slashes Ike diagonally downwards from right to left.
Saint Dee wonders how his dog ruphylin is doing back on the farm, he misses home. Murfle gets given some explosives from one of his supporters.
Matt sets a trap in the forest, he constructs a wooden square with sharpened spikes protruding off it connected to a long piece of wood, and hangs it a tree out of site, he connects it to a trip vine between two big tree's. He waits for a victim. A few hours later he hears scurrying in the bushes, a tribute is running towards him.
Rhymelark is running, he is thinking about nothing else but putting a gap between him and the other tributes, he needs his time to gather his thoughts. During his sprint he notices an odd looking vine just above ground level about 2 metres ahead of him, but it's too late, he skids with two feet and crosses the vine. He mutters "Well Shi-" before being impaled by the spike wall.

there is a mod for a game with same idea almost.
survival of the fittest for ark survival evolve is born out of this idea.
