Is there some voodoo I'm missing? The article only lists 3 server and says "The extra player slots are being provided by 3 new servers" yet you say here there are 4. Is there another server not mentioned in the article?

That night it was bad. I was running to where the action was and got called a noob (lol) and then four guys starting dissing each other about playing sims and how there mothers could snipe better than this dude ... it went on and on ...

So far my online experiences has been good. No name calling are whatever. Most of the BF2 guys are actaully quite helpfull if you ask for tips and so on. Have seen a few "why would you want to name yourself that" names, but other than that, no complaints so far from my side.

Yeah I rate most guys are cool,but you always have the over zealous lot that can very easily ruin a game for everyone. Eventually that night one dude did tell them all the STFU and get a room :p
 
In the Xbox version of the game, you can only hear your squad mates talking, and then only if they're on your Xbox friend list. Is it different in the PC version then?
 
Does anyone know what ports are used? Because I'm behind a university proxy server which blocks some ports (like Port 80) and I often struggle to play online games. Had success with battle.net and COD4/5 but not any of the games for windows live games or HoN. :-(

I'm not sure, these guys were texting the whole screen full. I couldn't hear anyone so maybe it's the same.
 
I have to agree with murph. Last night we saw by far the biggest assholes ive ever seen on an online game. BF2 fanboys and they are probably as big wankers in real life as in the game. Was playing conquest and when we joined the game the other team had captured all three points so we had to spawn at deployment. These guys (from nsd clan) sat across from our spawn and sniped, rocket launched, tubed, etc everytime someone spawned. Started laughing, saying they were so cool, we are all noobs, there is nothing anyone can do about what they are doing. So 7 of us left the server.

I swear there is some real babies on this game. Fine i also bitch sometimes when someone sits and camps the whole game in one spot but ffs so many kids calling everyone noob, noob, noob. Sodd off man its a game grow up.

Everyone is enjoying this till these low lifes play then you just dont want to be on that server since the mods are non existent on the servers.

I have to agree with you there. Some people must get a life and stop spoiling a great game.
 
So it wasn't just me. Yeah fridge you got it bad - it's very hard to ignore dickheads like that. Did no one else notice it? I mean I play MW2, if someone says NOOB (wtf is it with that word??) that dude gets kakked out by basically everybody.
 
You see on MW2 when we catch a hacker or there is someone who is just by far an ass then there is mob justice. Since you cant kick him, we just irritate him till he leaves. Spam messages, if im in his team ill run to him and flash or stun grenade him so everyone else kills him. That we do with the hackers the most. Caught 3 of them yesterday.

But yeah, the word noob is like the word racist in this country, way over used without actually knowing the real meaning. I love the people calling me noob tuber. But he is the twat who camps in a container with a LMG and a medi kit behind him. So i 40MM launched his ass out of there.
