32" TV for PC gaming

I want to use my current monitor on another PC for work.
Currently running a GTX960, not worried about running 120->144hz, mostly FPS games.

Must I absolutely replace it with another monitor or can I get a 32" TV?
Any issues/recommendations to look for when buying said TV?

Should be ok, you will have to be at least a meter from the tv and will notice the pixels more than on a monitor but likely you will also have a wider viewing angle.

Minimum 1080p though, hd ready would not be nice.

Try getting higher frequency/highest you can.

Also, take a laptop and cable with to the shop, insist you want to try before you buy and have a couple of games pre loaded on it to test with.

Well i use a 32" samsung full hd and i gave no issues at all you just have to adjust some settings like sharpness and so forth but once its done its perfect

I would not recommend a Tv as the max resolution of 32" TV's are 720p, very few are 1080p.

even 1080p for a PC is too low.

Well mine is 1080p and full hax and im more than happy cos i can lay on my bed and play games or watch movies or seriez and i have amazing picture quality. And my games are a joy specially sniping in bf

Just check the TV, as some TVs have picture processing which can and will delay the image slightly. Some TVs have "game mode" which will switch off picture processing.

Keep in mind that TVs are designed to output set resolutions at a FIXED number of frames per second 30/60 fps. You want to consider enabling V-sync to try and maintain the FPS output to the TV at a constant rate.
