3D Capable LCD monitors - Why does South Africa not have them?

I head rectron will be bringing in 3D proucts in the coming months including the NVIDIA 3D Glasses.

Well that would be fantastic if they did because I really like dealing with Rectron. Where did you hear this though? Usually Frontosa is first with all the "niche" products and toys.

I t was in a press release i think (thought this was more to promote the ASUS 3d capable laptop) and i one of the consultants in cpt told me it was due i was phoning to check up on a swop out and got to talking about new products. Not to get anyone into trouble, she told me it be here by june but didnt not want to confirm the date. They jumping on the bandwagon early cause 3D is becoming mainstream.

I took the plunge and ordered the Acer 23.6" 3D LCD monitor. From what I've read online this is definitely one of the best 3D LCD's you get at the moment. I had a feeling the asus 27" was going to be nice and big, but too expensive.

Now all I have to do is wait 7-15 working days and I'll be gaming in 3D :D

Laat weet my asb!

And so the giant volcanic ash cloud has descended on my dreams of 3D Gaming. All imports from the US and UK are delayed indefinitely until the ash cloud apologizes and goes away.

Thats sad Neo.. Hopefully it apologies real soon and goes away so you can play in 3d sooner rather than later.

Lol. It's only a monitor. I feel bad for all the people stranded in the UK and people outside of the UK trying to get in. They have missed important events in their life such as birthdays, weddings etc. all because of a volcano having a fit. I suppose we should realize that just because we live in a modern age we shouldn't expect the earth to stop its "primal" rage. Volcanoes will do as they please, they also have and the always will.
