3D headsets at the internet cafe

We had this internet cafe down the street that had you play games like Duke 3D and Redneck Rampage wearing 3D helmets. They enabled you to turn your head in the game and you also had a corded rounded like device that controlled other aspects of the game. I think the guy was charging R10 for 30 min, which was a lot back then but fun nonetheless. Wonder why they stop making them.

Didn't look exactly like that but very similar. They were kinda bulky and come to think of it, not that easy to play with. Getting your coordination right was a bitch. Some guys on YouTube are working on projects where they use them with Kinetic. Maybe we'll see them again sometime soon.

Looks as though if one were sitting down with this thing on your head, and you tilt or move your head too quickly, that you'll fall over the chair, laying flat on the floor, with a giant space helmet attached to your tiny head
