3D Monitor

Hi guys,

I'm looking to replace my monitor, and I've been interested in the 3d montiors. Aside from gaming, I do a lot of graphic design work at home, and the screen quality itself needs to be really good. I can't afford to get a cheap 3d monitor if the colours and such are off.

Can anyone recommend a good one? Otherwise, can anyone recommend a good 23-27 inch monitor?
 
To be very honest here, I don't think you'll find a 3D capable monitor that has the same quality as a 27" 1440p IPS panel. So if you're going to go 3D, you're going to lose image quality along the way. You'll need to make that call.

That's why I'm patiently waiting for a monitor that does 1440p @ 120Hz.....that doesn't cost R20,000.
 
I've got a 3D monitor and in my opinion it's not worth it. I'd rather go for a good quality monitor since you do graphic design work.

I was very excited about the 3D capabilities but believe me, it's a lot of hassle and it's finicky as hell. In fact, I haven't touched the glasses in quite a while.

I'd say go with a good quality 27" screen. My current one is 27" and I'd never go back to something smaller.
 
I can vouch for the Dell monitor. I've got the previous version, the U2711, and it's the BEST monitor I've ever owned. Worth the $$$ if you can afford it
