3D Printer - holy crap

You should see the 4D ones ;)

...3D printing is very cool, still bit expensive for us everyday joe :(. Seen a cheaper model for about 2k pounds....
 
They use these at Bell Equipment. My friend is an engineer there. Prints component designs right out. Fantastic stuff
 
There is a guy at work that wants one sooo badly.

I know there are plans to make yourself a 3D printer out of old inkjet printer parts and stuff. Sure you wont get such high quality models as from the pro-machines. But atleast you wont be spending arm and a leg and a lung for one ;)

The cool thing about this one is the plastic parts needed for this one is printed by another RepRap. So once you have one up and running you can print the parts for your friends to make their own ;)

But there are many of such projects, so just go and do so some searches and find the right one for you.
 
I saw this on BBC Click. The man being interviewed said that this provides people with what Karl Marx calls "the means of production". Now Malema can finally be rich, poor guy.
