Why the hell did they ever stop making games?

Watching than montage was like childhood nostalgia to the MAX!!!

Didn't even know Duke and Wacky wheels were made by the same team!

I think it's mostly because the guy who was in charge while they were developing DNF was useless as a project leader and way too full of himself. It seems he is not part of the team anymore.

Well that's great news... Because we all know how DNF turned out... Hoping for some epic things to come out of them in the not to distant future...

Learn to Let Go: How Success Killed Duke Nukem

While the nostalgia trip is nice, I don't see them doing anything worth while in the near future.

That's basically what I was thinking while I was checking their website. I don't think they have any rights left to release any new Duke Nukem, Max Payne, etc. games so they'll have to come of with something new. Or I suppose they could recreate one of their old IPs as a new game (i.e. convert one of the side scrollers into a full proper 3D game). Either way, that will still be years away if they're only starting now.

@viper
they just published/licenced max payne in certain areas, they never owned the ip, afaik remedy and take 2 interactive has owned it from the beginning
