I agree with everything except the mousepad. I am currently using a mousepad that's close to R500 and it improved my aim tenfold.
Sure lots and lots of of the best players play just as good with R20 mousepads, but in my case as with many more, a decent mousepad is not a placebo. It really does help. Being an accesory, like mice, you cannot REALLY compare them to say what justifies the price or which is better, as each person has a different taste and gaming style so to speak. Same with mousepads. I upgraded to a mousepad that cost me half a grand and I have no regrets, instant improvement in most of my games.
I disagree that an 8GB SSD hard drive is pointless, particularly if you're into
Retro-gaming.
... and why is the heading of the article "5 pointless PC components" if there are
only 4?

Am I missing something?? I read
"4 WTF PC components you do not need"
I agree with mappy.
I have xfx warpad and it cost me R300 at the time but its money well spent, my gaming has def improved and so has the comfort level...
I recently bought myself the TT e-Sports Challenger Pro keyboard. And the fan is absolutely a big plus point for me. I have it on the right side aimed at my mouse. With my hands getting so sweaty, it helps a lot on all those hours spent wiping on Elegon
That said, the macro keys are just..meh.
