5 goriest Mortal Kombat fatalities ever

MKX fatalities are so gruesome. *sick face*

At some points intense gore becomes too much for me.

At first I was grossed out, but now I'm pretty desensitized to it. I think it was the 'realism' of the gore that struck me at first, but after a while the ridiculousness of it all is just so apparent that it's tough to do anything but laugh.
 
I don't even mind seeing real life carnage or gore... but show me someone popping a boil, abscess or something! URGH!

I think MK has gone so far over the top and so far beyond any perceived limits that it's hard not to see the violence and gore as anything but cartoonish. It's very much like gorefest horror movies. They are so gory that it's just silly. It's not realistic anymore. Admittedly, many of the fatalities leave me with a bit of a *urgh*, *shudder* feeling, but mostly, they are just ridiculously silly now.
