5 HD Collections that have gotten us excited

Silent hill hd and MDK2 hd for me.

Loved both games. I am so excited for silent hill 2 hd.

I am going to try and get mdk2 hd soon :D
 
What the HELL?

Why is MDK2 only available for purchase (for PC) on some obscure site called "BeamDog?"

Why didn't they put it on Steam?

I don't buy from obscure sites, damn you!
 
all they do is upscale the games so technically alot of people are getting milked into believing these games are being remade for current gen consoles. a remake would be something like halo anniversary which has a new graphics engine or the resident evil remake on the gamecube (a remake of the 1996 original) !

I don't know MDK, so Final Fantasy, Silent Hill and Metal Gear and going to raid my bank account... But especially excited for Final Fantasy X.... all that prettiness and colourfulness in HD <3

A valid point; but really, I've tried playing numerous last-gen titles (and even older) on my HD screens, and, yeah, it's horrible.

I guess people just need to be smart about what they're buying into - most of the PS3 HD collections are more than up-scaling, and feature retexturing and adaptation to widescreen displays, as well as adding trophies and such.

But you are correct, there's a difference between a remake (entirely new build), a remastering/reworking (retextured and other tweaks) and a re-release (upscaled).
 
Metal gear and Silent Hill HD are at the top of my list. I wonder if FFX will be on XBOX as well. I was very disappointed in the recent Resident evil HD games. A new Space Quest game would be awesome...
 
I'm quite looking forward to Silent Hill 2 and Final Fantasy X. I've played so much Metal Gear 2 and 3 on PS2 that I'm not even too excited about the HD upscale.

that laughing scene with Tidus and Yuna...please find a way to remove/change that.

LOL! Yes please! Awkward ,cheesy and embarrassing scene every time I saw it. :D
