5 old games you forgot existed but probably played (Column)

I remember playing Loom and Battlechest.

I remember right in the beginning you could cheat and cast the spell on the final piece of loom? or whatever, and win the game in 5 minutes.

5 old games I loved in no particular order :

1) altered beast
2) bobble bobble
3) raygar
4) jail break (the warden has been taken hostage, free him no matter what the cost! lol classic )
5) ghost and goblins (my all time favourite, i would run straight for this every time at the arcade)

Oh and mad dog, if this was at an arcade, that was all you could hear "Are you crazy enough to take on Mad Dog McCreed?" :)

Here's one that I was going to add to the list:

Who remembers that one? It's called Rockford :)

Only one I think I recognised was the Chess one and oldest game I have played was a 1998 one or maybe earlier not sure when dos/windows 3 games came out.

Nice list, also nice to see the other games mentioned, Mean Streets, Another World, Stunts, no one here mentions Formula One Grand Prix, Street Rod and Street Rod II.

Street Rod was the shiz! Actually having to unbolt the engine parts and then go looking for spare parts in the newspaper. I wish someone could do remake of it. My favourite genre probably was the side scroller adventures. Another World, Flashback, Prince of persia, BlackThorne, Duke. And from my old CGA days, alleycat and DeathTrack! I'll also leave this in here: He concealed what where?
