I loved battlechess! I didn't care whether I won or not. All I cared about was seeing the pieces beat the heck out of eachother.

Some other games that really made an impact in my life were
* PaperBoy
* Wolfenstein
* Descent (This was my all time favorite!)

Man this brings back memories.
My 1st PC game was Leisure suit Larry 1 on monochrome!
We weren't allowed to play it, because of the adult content.
So we snuck in a game when my parents weren't home.
It taught me one very important habit.
Save often, cause when the key goes into the front door you had to flip that off switch very quickly.
