I've participated in alot of "formal" and "personal" LAN's over the years. The most memorable one was when my Dad went to a week long sport event in another province.
My two cousins, two friends and naturally myself, decided instead of a party, we LAN for the evening. The LAN eventually lasted 6 days with morning and evening egg and cheese runs daily for snackwich and egg goodness.
Since EVERYONE was coffee addicts, the coffee duties was handed down to the individual with the least kills in Counterstrike. Naturally all of us already knew who is going to make
For the entire 6 days no one slept. A house full of zombies lol, with multiple injuries. I, myself, had a blister on the inside of my index finger. There was some table casualties with multiple headbutting of tables (passing out for 1 second doesn't count as sleep!)
The most memorable moment of gaming during this event was the "hand incident". I made a bucket of chicken for everyone on night 5. Everyone grabbed their plates and ate their chicken while playing some Warcraft 3 RPG map.
My one friend packed his plate and held it upright (face height) while playing. Take note that this was 10 o clock the evening. He was in a separate room with my cousin. By 2 o clock the morning his character didn't respond anymore...we didn't bother to check up on him and concurred that he probably fell asleep.
The following morning with the coffee run (6 o clock) we found him fast asleep in his chair one hand on mouse and other hand still keeping the plate with chicken upright (face height) and NOTHING eaten:wtf:
