6 uber desirable gaming keyboards

Now this article comes with perfect timing. Need a new KB as I raged my G19 (not the kb's fault lol). Might have to settle for something like the G510 this time :(

Hehehe I again love my Lycosa! Ive had it over 9 months now and not a hiccup with it. I would have gone for the logitech tho if I could afford it (Lycosa was part of a bday gift so it was cheap for me). I have a love for all things logitech but this razer of mine is starting to convince me to go other to that side.

Microsoft X6 goes for around R600. That's about the cheapest I've seen.

I picked up a X6 on special, i've wanted it for months and i finally got it. It has everything I need for FPS's and normal activities. If I didnt get this board I wouldve got the merc.

I have the X6 but i am such a lazy ass that I have yet to read up on how to use the makro keys. And now i have taken the damn thing to work and totally not using that thing to its full potential :o

I have the X6, it's a very cool keyboard, but the flatness of the keys really get to me sometimes.
Mostly with the spacebar when you need to double jump... you need to hit it just right to get it to work properly, otherwise the jumps fail miserably.

The X6 is also a brilliant board, 2 of my mates' got one and they dig it big time!

Well I must be one of the lucky one's when it comes to the Razer Lycosa, I've had it for 3 years and no problems, it still works perfectly. For me the low profile keys are a plus especially for the amount of typing I do on it and I find it very responsive when it comes to gaming. Don't think I could go back to normal (fat) keys again.

I also prefer the low profile keys, unfortunately I've got fat keys on my g15.

Good choice man, you're going to love it!!! Congrats!

Thanks bru. All I want is a fscking keyboard does what I want and doesn't break in a few months, for once in my life. All these cheap components these days :/. I also had a cheapass labtec keyboard once with the worst red backlit keys you've ever seen. It was so shit, that at night, I couldn't see the keys.

I had a look at my Razer's keys and they're actually really kakly made. Hope this new one serves me well!

Hey guys, what do you think of the logitech K750. Not a gaming keyboard but it's solar powered and takes out the schlep replacing batteries and battery leakage.

Currently having the G15 and loving it to the max, if need be I would gladly choose the G510 as he's successor. But not gonna pay R900 yet, not in that much of a need for a new keyboard.

For gaming purposes, stay AWAY from wireless components!

LOL! A good reminder would be when me and my friend played RE:5 Co-op, shame... he eventually took out a old ass beige ps/2 keyboard and never fell of a cliff again.
