7 Amazing free PC games to play in 2016

However from personal experience and with 1700 hours of playing dota 2 please try it out with caution... The Dota 2 S.A is very toxic and not welcoming to new players at all. If you want to try it out try playing with bots first or get a friend who is experienced to coach you.

You can say that again. I rage quit and gave up on Dota 2 forever while it was still in beta as a result of the extremely toxic community. Will never touch the game again.

This is why I tried it once, uninstalled after an hour and will never touch it again.

Smite was fun, I just realised MOBA's are not really my cup of tea.

It's quite fun, I was fairly into it a while back. In many ways it is a lot like League of Legends but the 3rd person perspective gives it a more action oriented feel.
I asked because I'm capped and can't afford to "waste" even a few measly gigs, but it looks like I'll be downloading this instead of Dota 2 like I had planned.

Or just play on European servers. I find that while there are still some assholes, it's much less than on the SA servers.

I really don't know what it is about South Africans that make them such awful gamers. Even with DayZ it's way more pleasant putting up with a bit of lag and playing on international servers than it is putting up with the SA community.

I've been playing Robocraft on and off for a couple of months now & it's quite a bit of fun, great for both short and long sessions. I admit I only started playing because the game was small and I was trying out new graphic drivers on my Linux machine but I haven't uninstalled it since so there must be something good keeping me from removing it.
