Was it worth having a Gold subscription in 2016?

A 12 month gold subscription is a no brainer, pity it had a price increase to R900 though

Um, that would be since E3 of 2015, as in last year.

All future Xbox 360 Games with Gold freebies will be backward-compatible on Xbox One - Polygon

You can get it for much cheaper if you buy it elsewhere. But I agree, it really is a no brainer. Lots of games!

Wow, those are some great games for R900. If I get an XBOX again someday I'll definitely consider getting a Gold sub.
