Well see now Ico had a fantastic atmosphere but the gameplay kind of frustrated me. Shadow of the Colossus as well but to a lesser extent because the whole concept was just so absorbing. Still definitely one of the most original developers around, and no doubt The Last Guardian will be a masterpiece:

I've played both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and, wow, no other games can match the atmosphere, innovation and originality delivered by these games. Sure you have to have an open mind and not expect anything like God of War, Halo and the rest of those 'good' commercial titles.
I respect these guys because they try to do something other developers are too scared or greedy to do: be different.

I wish more devs would attempt games like these.
Sometimes the overload in all these new titles desensitizes me. Like recently I played Killzone 2 and I felt NOTHING! With all the explosions, people shouting at me, there was no sense of urgency because it is being rammed down my throat every other game.
Dev's like Team Ico and Quantic Dream deserve respect for doing something different, and trying to illicit a response from us that so few games do.
