so rebeltech sent a email....

the asus M5A97 pro-ETA unknown

AND

kingston hyper-x plug and play 2x4gb-END OF LIFE!!!

Okay so everything through Wootware will be.

Asus M5A97 Pro - R1 513(contact for availability though)
AMD FX-8320 - R2 265
PowerColor AX6950 - R1 695
Corsair GS600 - Rebeltech - R914
Kingston Hyper X - your choice
Chassis - your choice

Total (excluding chassis and RAM) - R6 463

That's a lot more than your budget and Wootware might not have the motherboard in stock either. Also, their RAM prices are quite high.

Now if we go through various sellers, we can get a list like this:

ASUS M5A97 EVO - Rebeltech - R1 171
AMD FX-8320 - Rebeltech - R2 048
PowerColor AX6950 - Wootware - R1 695
Corsair GS600 - Rebeltech - R914[/URL
[URL="http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=8630"]Kingston Hyper-X 2x4GB - Rebeltech - R885

Edit - not sure why the PSU hyperlink isn't working.

This total is R6 713 excluding the chassis. Rebeltech has some really nice prices.

yeah with the case and stuff im far over budget now:D

what is the difference between the EVO R2.0 and the PRO?

rebeltech has the best prices so far for me,delivery fee is once off R90......

still not sure on the case, was going to take the zalman z11 plus, dont know anymore.....

ill have to go sit and check everything in detail

The Pro version offers better onboard audio support and brings in Firewire and eSATA, plus a couple of additional USB connectors .

If you check out THIS comparison, you'll see the differences.

If the comparison doesn't list the boards, manually search them on the global site and add each one to the comparison list. Then you can check out the differences.

Search each of the two motherboards. For each one, select Add to comparison list:

After adding both motherboards, select Compare List at the top right of the screen:

The only problem with buying from several companies, is if you need to return faulty parts and then check each companies warranties...

Also, the Eastern Cape is rather far from most of these businesses...

ill stick to buying on-line from rebeltech, what i mean is maybe just take out the R5000 budget and buying decent parts that's good performance and good pricing.(advise from a good friend)

he said i must check out the sabertooth 990fx R2.0 and amd fx 8350

the board is expensive,is it worth buying a board that's priced so high?

and the fx8350 is R600 more than the fx8320,0.5GHz more, is this also worth the bucks?

or cut on the board and stick to the fx8320 and get a decent Gpu.......

for me both sides has it ups and downs

going on a small budget will be good now but not for long(less money but not great performance)
spending more and buying piece by piece will give me better performance(more money(at a time) but better performance)

(please don't say its up to me:D)

I wouldn't spend so much on a motherboard. Most people who have boards that expensive don't use all the features that they offer and a board only lasts as long as you are using that cpu socket.
My advice is stick to an average motherboard and get a stronger gpu then stronger cpu then then board and then power supply. Ram and case etc it doesn't really matter on brand etc. 4gb - 8gb DDR3 1333 is plenty grunt for an entry level / mid level rig.
