After 17 years, NAG Magazine will soon be no more

Not surprised really. With affordable broadband, we don't need magazines like those anymore when anything is available freely on the internet :)
 
It's sad. I used to subscribe to NAG. But unfortunately it's the way things are going. Everything is going digital.
 
Sad times but at least they are continuing their online side.

Used to buy the magazines often for traveling
 
bought the first issue. dropped off a few years back

will buy the last issue just for laughs
 
I also remember buying the first 2 years or so's issues. Was primarily whilst I was still at school. When varsity kicked in I stopped buying it...
 
*Salute to NAG*

I always liked buying the NAG mag, it was most of where my gaming news knowledge came from, and I will definitely miss it. Yes everything is digital nowadays, but having the physical version always felt more fulfilling, (don't know why) and NAG was no exception, it was the bundle of gaming videos,news,hardware and posters that I never hesitated to buy.

But all good things must come to an end, I wish NAG great success in their future endeavors, and that they at least stick around for 17 more years :)
 
I will rly miss this mag it kept me busy at work when the net was buggered. I actually bought from the very first issue and have never skipped an issue, i actually have every single cd to dvd still in a cd folder with covers for the ones that had covers before it became the norm. I'll post pics tonight. And no i'm not old :p

Just glad they will still carry on RAGE. I'll Gladly buy the last few issues, Guess i'll get me an online sub now gonna miss the funny cover messages about the DVD being missing
 
I'm disappointed to hear this. I've had a subscription to the mag for the last 3 years and I've always enjoyed the hard copy. It was just easier and more rewarding to sit down and read the magazine. It feels a lot more like a break to pull out the magazine than it is to read the same article on my laptop.

Hopefully they can keep the magazine model alive through those emags you can download to a tablet.

But I still have subscriptions to 2 other magazines and hopefully they won't fold any time soon.
