Sup gaiz,

Just throwing this out there for whoever is interested.
The annual Awesome Games Done Quick has started yesterday.
Such a great initiative.

For those that don't know what it is, here's a block of text I stole from their site:

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014

Speed Demos Archive, the home to video game speed runs, is proud to present the third annual speed running marathon: Awesome Games Done Quick 2014. It is a 7-day online event to raise money for cancer prevention, streamed live for you to watch!

Featuring over 115 games, speed runners will play continuously in order to collect donations for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, our partner for this event. During the marathon, donations enter you into various prizes, and can be used to determine the outcome of bidding wars! The various prizes and bidding wars can be found in our tracker.

You can get all info, schedule and the live stream right here http://gamesdonequick.com/
Edit: Schedule here http://gamesdonequick.com/schedule

Seems like they will be making their target of $500,000 since they already at $300,000.
And just now I heard someone donated $10,000 :O :O :O

I'll just update this thread for those that care lol.
So the team at AGDQ 2014 managed to double their initial Goal of $500k.
They made an amazing $1014110 in donations for the week of SpeedRunning.
Such a great effort by all the people involved, wish I could've donated. Next year(or later this year for Summer Games Done Quick 2014) I'll definitely donate.

Been a great AGDQ so far. Haven't gotten to watch as much as I wanted to, but luckily youtube makes it easy to catch up afterwards. Cant wait for the DS3 run. Also the Tasbot block.

Yeah missed so many runs this time around, especially PJ's run which is always super funny. Work isn't helping much either.
Yeah TasBot block is always a win!
Donations are pumping in, already at $591k

Wow they completely smashed last years record. They made $2.2 Million in donations.
Yeah Tetris masters were mind blowing when I saw it as well.
