Aion - General Discussion

Wait ... why are you doing weaponsmithing AND handicrafting?

Your ranger's melee weapons are only secondary. I'd just let a guildy make 'em or buy them off the AH instead of spending all that cash on leveling weaponsmithing.

Handicrafting will make your main weapon. Rather do tailoring to get armor or alchemy for pots.

True, I was considering selling the weapons since I always come across TONS of Iron deposits...I'll take a look at Aionarmory to see how viable Tailoring is for leather armor

Well tailoring is leather & cloth. Armorsmithing = Plate & Mail.

I can make tons of green stuff for the rangers/assassins in our legion. But seriously have a look at the trade brokers. I bought a full restless set for my sorcerer @ 10,000 kinah.

I then bought 8 green manastones, of which 5 were lost during socketing failures

Hey guys what about a mygaming grinding weekend?

Where we all do quests and what nots together and grind some exp?

Questing is pretty linear in Aion. You'll soon find out if you're in the wrong questing zone. Do the quests West of Altgard Fortress and work your way around to the Empetisium South of it. By then you should be lvl 17-18.

Then you can hit the Black Claw Outpost group quests which are pretty hard - which should have you finishing your campaign up to lvl 20.

I'm going to be leveling as much as possible, considering I don't believe greatly in having alts.

I'm going to be leveling as much as possible, considering I don't believe greatly in having alts.

I never had proper alts in all my time of playing WoW - aside from a lvl 60 DK and a lvl 18 Pally.

The reason I'm hooking alts now is to see which class I enjoy the most and would like to spend all my time on in getting to end game. I'm glad I did it, because If I had to do all this with my assassin I would not have enjoyed it as much as I am with my sorcerer.

Characters that are girly (and quite frankly ghei) i dont like ("Oh i shoot u from distance") :p no offence, i dont smaak those chars busy leveling my extract vitality atm got like 200+ iron ores in my inventory

You say that... I played exclusively as an Assassin class on WoW. I never liked spellcasters.

Yet in Aion, I took out a lvl 18 Bear "steelclaw" or some such with my lvl 15 sorcerer without suffering a single bit of damage.

Only one in every 6 or so mobs will actually get close enough to inflict damage on me unless I made a stuff up or had multiple mobs spawn behind me.

I love assassins, but the game is to unforgiving and expensive for me to level one right now. Questing takes forever, whereas I'm cleaning up with my caster.

btw who knows if this aioncard thingy automatically updates? like if i level up will it see that im level 13 now?

Because then voicy wont have to do anything to his post all he will need to do is post the sigs

Let me change my title and lets lookie

Speaking of titles, Voicy I assume you acquired Protector of Altgard by completing the campaign quests in Altgard?

I'm not creating sigs for all my alts - and not everyone is sporting sigs either.

I can remove the level indicator from the list all together - it's just to indicate who plays as what and where. Seeing levels is just an idea of who you can buddy up with for quests etc.
