I was going to tune you for not updating your epic starter guide, then I remembered that my WoW guide hasn't been updated since WotLK. :o Carry on, citizen, nothing to see here... :p

I'm rather enjoying SWTOR atm, but I'm keen to see what changes they've made to Aion, my sorc is still lvl 21 or so tho.
 
Mmm ye I also have/had like a level 20 Sorc. Game just was not as good as Wow back when it started. Hows it doing atm?
 
Fun actually (well for me still) one thing about the game now though is when someone mentions PvP dont expect it to be 1v1 more like 1v1000
 
LOL, I havent experienced any pvp as of yet but then again I only recently restarted the game. So far I am enjoying it. Caboose - what server are you on?

Fox and I are on Perento, most SA ppl are on perento, theres even an SA legion there called <The SA Team> but when i was with them i left cause all their gear sucks, this was about a year ago.

Fox has been lazy :P Ive also rolled on Perento tho. Was just wondering if Im all alone now that fox is playing startrek :P

It was said to go F2P soon if it hasn't done so already. Still waiting on details for the new client.

Man I LOVED gliding in the game. Flying wasn't AS cool though. Esp with lag, you die. A lot.
 
Must admit the latency in game has improved a lot - I used to sit between 800ms - 1000ms. Rubber banding like mad. Now its down to 250ms - 350ms. So far the only thing I hate is how long it takes to load the game. My client is ready for the F2P - as I understood it 1 Feb. You cannot play from the F2P client tho, I still have to use the original launcher.

Voicy, go back a page I think shadow or someone posted the link for the new client - it will get yours ready for F2P.

More like zerg vs zerg lately. I'm usually at the back of the zerg somewhere trying to get some shots in, because I'm a non-pvp geared sorc who dies hella fast if one of the gladdys/rangers spots me. Still working on my cleric, once I get her geared up she'll be my little pvp monster.

There's a couple of guys still hanging around - I don't see many SA Team guys around anymore - I think most of them moved over to other legions. Pewza is still playing, but he does almost nothing but craft lately.

Yep ... the clients are actually identical, it's just the launchers that are different. When I ran the install it detected my Aion install and copied the files over from there.
 
I gotta download the whole thing, keep getting a windows 7 error saying createshortcut.exe is not responding :/ Kinda sucks since im on the F2P beta :/
 
Shadow I will bring you my external drive next weekend if you want? I can copy the game folder on there, mine works fine except that the servers are not live yet.
 
Lol sorry to only reply now but yea was in the beta from the get go, pings were better (without proxy) dunno about with since BP needs to change them to the servers when they go f2p.

Did you see now? Apparently NA is going "truly f2p" no increased cooldowns or anything and 3.0 coming to them in spring when we dont even have a date...
