All SA HoN servers getting shutdown. "iGame soley to be blame".

Anyone know anything about the mysterious sahon servers that popped up?

Found an IP in the resource file:

To be honest, good riddance. The local HoN/Dota scene is just filled with dickheads : / I'd rather play int with abit of a ping than go against some kiddy raging about how he did my mom when I kill him.

I wouldn't say "good riddance" as such. A lot of SA players obviously enjoyed the lower latency. For me, it never made a huge difference and I enjoy playing with the international guys. It also gives you a much bigger pool of players to game with.

A bit harsh, considering they were using their own resources to try to develop a quality local HoN community. That's a lot more than others can say.

Yes I do lol. It's actually a colleague of mine's. We put that server down in our hosting just the other day. He's busy dealing with S2 Games for licensing the server.

I take it you played on iGame servers? The HON ones I mean.

They were more down than up, they lagged, 2 didnt have voip enabled, I could go on.

I did actually. But it seems where people get lag (HoN, Black Ops, etc) I don't get. And the HoN servers were always up when I wanted a game *shrug*

Maybe I'm just lucky.
