Nope I came up with the idea but I don't actually own the game. So it's up to one of you to start it and keep it maintained. Or wait until my wifey hopefully buys it for me for Christmas.

Let us start this week and see what the interest is in this. If it goes well, I'll start a thread dedicated to the challenge. Each week the winner of the challenge can choose the track and class of car to use, and for official entry you need post a screenshot of the time posted for that track. On Sunday at 11:00 am the challenge closes, and the winner will be announced. At the moment we'll only do it for this week and see how the reception is to the challenge, and take it from there thereafter.

TRACK: Top Gear Test Track Full Sunshine
CLASS: Class B
Post a screenie of your fastest time using any car of your choosing, but must not be faster than Class B.

I'll see what i can do, i have placed Forza 6 a bit on the backburner because my multiplayer/league still doesn't work and it is one of main things i am interested in. So i am hoping they bring out a patch or something soon.

1. Does it have to be a clean lap to be a valid time?
2. Do we have a limited amount of laps to try and beat the time?
3. I know how to take a screenshot, but how do I get it publicly visible?

1. It just so happened that my fastest time was a clean lap. Lets not bog down the challenge with too many rules, so I'll allow non clean laps. in anycase, only clean laps will be shown in this screen
2. You can try as many times as you want. You can also share as many times as you want
3. I went to my profile on the Xbox.co.za website, and there I just right-clicked and downloaded the screenshot. You can also share your screenshots from your Xbox One to OneDrive, and easily download them from there.

If you are all friends, can't you just set a record lap and whoever has the record lap for that class of car is the winner? Then there's no need for screenshots. I don't have Forza 6 but if I remember correctly in Forza 5 you could see your times and compare it to your friends for a track and a car class. And it doesn't matter if you set the time 2 weeks ago because that time must still be beaten. Highest person on the leaderboard for the track at the end of the week wins the week. How does that sound?
Doesn't all best laps get uploaded to the leaderboards? Although i guess that is not very community friendly, but i'm sure one can search in there to confirm the lap time. I know the leaderboards can filter per region/country (i.e. only south africans etc).

In Forza 5 you can filter by friends which I'm hoping that Forza 6 have that too. Except if you all hate each other and don't want to be friends.

With the dodgy drivatar AI in Forza 6, you do start to hate some friends , even though it's not their fault haha. I read on the forums some people resorted to unfriending people that were ruining their races, but seems that was a little extreme, if you play entirely offline the drivatar problem is fixed though.

What I don't understand is that while doing my lap, it showed me that it was a clean lap. Didn't go off track, nor any rewinds or anything, but on the leaderboard my time is marked with that damned exclamation mark. I really don't know why
