This is a place for us to post and keep up to date our own personal lists of games we enjoyed the most.

These lists should not be influenced by how games are critically acclaimed by any other human being, magazine, website, TV programme or Tom Selleck; these are the games YOU enjoyed playing.

Whether they come pre-installed with Windows, were made by sentient blubber or are the products of code-crunching geniuses, doesn't matter, as long as they are your personal favourites simply because you enjoyed playing them. We confidently guarantee that no one will be ridiculed should they have 'Barbie Generation Girl Gotta Groove' in their #1 position.

Make only one post; simply return to and edit your existing post whenever something changes.

ALL TIME FAVOURITES
  • This list should contain your all-time favourite games. The year they were produced in is irrelevant.

GAME OF THE YEAR
  • These lists should contain your favourite games that were produced in a certain year. If you played a game in 2010 and it was produced in 2004, then the game should go under your 2004 Game of the Year list.

WORST GAMES EVER PLAYED
  • List here those games that you remember as having left a particularly bad taste in your mouth and stank up your HDD, cartridge slot or optical disc drive; the games that made you feel depressed, turn up your nose and nearly made you quit gaming. They are the most horrible of the horrible, bottom of the barrel scum of scummy scum that gaming has to offer.

    But also apply some common sense here; if your least favourite nephew forced you in February 2011 to play some games on his Atari 2800 and you absolutely hated the 'graphics' and gameplay of every single game, that wouldn't qualify them to be added to your Worst Games list. You had to have played them within a reasonable period of time after their original release. That being said, if you really enjoyed an old game recently, feel free to add said game to your favourite game for the year it was produced in.

Hopefully this will become a thread where everyone can regularly cultivate their own Favourites Lists and get a good idea of the games their fellow forumites enjoy. I'll start us off by posting my lists; they are by no means comprehensive and will be amended from time to time.

Please try and rank your games numerically; surely you have that one all-time favourite game? Take your time, give it some thought and have fun...
