All Wii haters: this is what you missed

All crappy games. I have not missed anything. :D

you missed ALOT Actually !

The last story
Monster Hunter Tri
Xenoblade Chronicles
Tatsunoku vs Capcom
Red Steel

Those are some of the Best games on the wii (better than alot of 360, ps3 titles) Just because the console had a crapload of showelware doesnt mean that some developers didnt but effort into some of their titles, only a few devs actually made use of the extra processing power the wii (conduit 2 proves it) had over the gamecube, if you look at fifa 15 on the wii it looks worse than fifa 06 on the gamecube its just an indication that most devs (looking at u EA) didnt/doesnt care about the console.

Download DolphinEmu, miss nothing!

+1
Non emulated vs emulated game.

Booze + Braai + Rock Band made for some fun evenings.

Other than that it was a nice little "baby sitter" that you could cart to the bushfeld to keep the kids occupied while we chat around camp fires. Don't think the PS3 would have lasted as long on car batteries....

Mine paid for itself many times over.

Don't forget Muramasa, Resident Evil 4 Wii Ed and Tower of Pandora

I loved Nintendo. Was a devout Fanboy. But super stagnated games forced me to leave to Ninty. Have not looked back ever since.

I've mostly gamed on the Wii casually but two of my most treasured gaming experiences have come from it. Playing and finishing Super Mario Brothers Wii co-op with my wife and playing through Super Mario Galaxy. SMG made me feel like a kid again and all the good things that come with that feeling, it also had the best sound track ever!

I love the Wii. Many people shit on Nintendo for their under-powered consoles and lack of new IP, but that doesn't stop those games being super good on that particular console. Don't get me wrong, I'm not biased towards Nintendo. I own many platforms and each have their place. The Wii is great for "casual" gaming, but it can also swallow you whole when you put LoZ, Mario or any of the other great titles into the disc slot. MadWorld, Red Steel, the Blob, those games gave me just as much enjoyment as Uncharted on PS3, Gears of War on the Xbox and any RTS on the PC.
