I hereby propose a new thread of Games that are currently in Alpha or Beta that look worth getting into.

Sometimes its worthwhile to buy into games at an earlier stage due to the usual price drop before full release, plus it can be fun being involved in something thats still developing, ah how I recall alpha and beta Minecraft days.

I see GOG has it on special but the Rand/Dollar makes it pointless
 
TABS, Totally Acurate Battle Simulator is in pre-alpha stage at the moment, with an open alpha releasing on 15 November. It's a funny little physics-based game where one has to pit your army against the enemies and then watch as they battle it out to decide the victor, in a some-what-funny manner. There are already some videos of it on youtube if you would like to see how it works.

Atlas reactor open beta 15-25 Sept, it's an online multiplayer turn based combat game, best way to describe it, is XCOM style movement and topdown view, with different heroes with different abillities to choose from.

Unreal Tournament, Will be pretty amazing when its done

only gripe is it runs through the epic launcher, which joins a a dozen other launchers you have just to run a damn game these days, steam, origin, uplay, etc. etc. etc.
 
GRIP is shaping up really nicely. If you were ever a fan of Rollcage or combat racing games in general, definitely check it out.
