AMD APU A10-5800K is overclocked to 7.3 GHz
A standard AMD A10-5800K APU has four cores and runs at a clock speed of 3.8GHz and is scalable to 4.2 GHz automatically under Turbo mode. With air cooling A10-5800K had managed to reach 5.1GHz clock frequency and with the superior cooling provided by liquid nitrogen, it was again overclocked to 7.3GHz clock frequency. Also when two cores of A10-5800K were disabled, it reached a clock frequency of 7.3177 GHz. But a stable overclock that had been achieved through air cooling was 4.5 GHz only.

That is pretty damn impressive.
For those interested the AMD a10 5800k will retail for around R1600 locally.
Motherboards aren't available at this moment but this will be a killer budget setup.
Sporting a damn nice on board gpu capable of playing games at decent settings.

7.3 ghz clock speed?? That is just insane when does It become available? Wouldn't it be cool if they bundle liquid nitrogen with the cpu?? ^_^

Its available already, just awaiting stock on motherboards.
lol Bundled LN2...although awesome would never work...I can imagine opening my gaming and top story: "Gamer loses hand while LN2 benching...lol
