The problem is that Samsung doesn't need any of AMD's other technologies in their stable, buying them would be a waste of money. They could benefit from Radeon graphics, but they can already license it for cheap. They would be able to benefit from a Skybridge processor, but that's something they can already build (and sort of do today in the new S6) with a working, functional DDR4 memory controller.
