AMD Crossfire-saving Catalyst driver hits beta

Now they decide to fix it? After I've traded my AMD setup for my 680's ;(

Why did you doubt they ever could? AMD"s been fixing their latency issues this whole year and have been on target the entire time. no worries tough, you can see if the HD8000/HD9000 series is to your liking.

After using it this weekend I can honestly say there is a huge difference and a very noticeable one with the naked eye.
Possibly the greatest drivers AMD have ever put out. My temps on my cards have also dropped and my cards now require less voltage for the same overclock..I know that sounds whack but these drivers have really made a huge difference with my 7970's.

The biggest challenge AMD now has is to merge these drivers with the current Catalyst 13.6 beta 2 code base AND the rewritten memory manager on top of that, all in time for Windows 8.1. But Crossfire is getting fixed at last. Now I can hunt down a second HD6870 and plop that in with my future upgraded rig.

I have had CF6870s for about 2 years now and have never noticed microstuttering ever. In any game. Have no idea why, but it never affected me.

Question is, should I still go for these BETA drivers or leave as is?

Also, what CAP profiles work best with these drivers? Everyone forgets the CAP profiles :P
