AS a side note, Do the first 20, HD6870 owners get the Dirt3 keys? Or just the first 20 entrants? Reason I ask is because the Ad that led me to this thread says: Get Dirt 3 FREE with purchase of the AMD Radeon HD6870 graphics card.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that if you buy a HD6870, you get Dirt 3 for free. The first post states that the first twenty entrants to the competition get the game, but since then TinMan has said that they received sixty more keys, so I guess that brings it up to the first 80 entrants. Then there is apparently 10 more keys that are going to go into a lucky draw.

I don't have enough connecters and have to choose between no fans or no optical drive)

However, My dear old man's PC could do with some serious upgrading...
Let me just go run SIW on there for you guys...
It just hung twice while I tried and I had to power off and on again in an attempt to get it working...
In the meantime, let me tell you about my friend's rig who just needs a new PSU and GFX card to get his pc working again,
He has 8GB of DDRII Kingston ValueRam

Stock old Acer case from an ancient PC
A P5Q Deluxe
I know all this because it used to be my pc and then I sold it to him for cheap and then, thats right folks, lightning struck. He got lucky though, not everything blew. Just the crappest componenets *Victory!* The PC is now at my house until he gets me the money for the parts to fix it. This HD6870 would make his life alot better if you donated it to him.
In the meantime, back on the ranch, my dads PC is finally spewing forth its filthy, ugly, naked truths:
Mobo- Foxconn 661 7MI
CPU- P4 @ 3GHz
GPU- Nvidia FX5500
RAM- 2x512 DDR @ 200MHz
Case- You don't even want to know
Optical Drive- Worn out and only opens if forced now
HDD- 160GB that I donated cuz his old 40GB's sounds made me physically ill
PSU- 300W that I found in a friends garage to replace my dads old one which too sounded horrible
Monitor- 15" LCD that I donated when I could afford my Samsung BX2450
If you gave this HD6870 to my dad, I would ensure he got a new system to suit the GPU (i'll give him 6 of my 12GB of ram and convince him to purchase a core i7 with matching Mobo and he can have my PSU so I can buy a new one) so he could once again enjoy being at his pc and maybe I could even get him to play some games with me like he used to *reminiscing*
So please guys, I might not need it but you can give it to a cause. Whether you are having pity on a student or helping an old gaming veteran out. Both my dad and friend could use it and i'm sure either would be mighty greatful and excited if you were to let them win!

Hmm, not sure how much of a boost this old rig will get from a 6870, but I am planning on updating to some kinda Core i5 setup later in the year (BF3 is coming!), so the 6870 will do very nicely on bringing the upgrade costs down.

Just post YOUR (not your dad or friend or sickly grandmother) rig's specs and I'm sure the guys at mygaming will do just fine at seeing who could use the prize or not.

I see the criteria for this is "most deserving", which may seem to put anyone with a lower end GFX card at an advantage. I understand that and it would obviously be great to get someone who has all the other oomph to get this fantastic card.
The obvious question for me is whether you could SLi the same card from different manufacturers (XFX with the Sapphire).
But I want to enter because I think 2x 6870's in CrossFire would be absolutely EPIC given whats coming down the lines this year ITO games. That, and I have never CrossFire / Sli'd before and would LOVE to try it out. Also, a game like Dirt deserves ALL HIGH EVERYTHING MAXED
