AMD HD7900 graphics card technology overview

Some impressive technologies there i must say... might get me to upgrade to AMD mayb... I Still have to see what nVidia comes up with, then maybe i will decide... Need an upgrade soon i am a little behind with the technology.
 
And so it begins ..... hopefully nvidia will not take to long to release their cards so that I can get the best card at performance vs price level.
 
So..

Would you guys reckon I should keep my current cards ( 6990 + 6970) or sell them and get 2 x 7970's?

I would sell them if I were you, as far as I know the 7970's would perform better as it is 2 singles rather then 1 double and a single with the whole scaling and all. But why on earth do you only have 4gigs of ram with those awesome monsters under the hood, very surprised by that seeing as though ram is so cheap now lol

I agree, wait for your card to be more out of date, than wasting your money on an upgrade you dont need... Your cards still should be fine till the next generation is out dated... Unless you want the best of the best then i am sure we cant change your mind...
