seems like nvidia is about to be toast again, recently amd sent a few teasers to revieweres and journalist a letter and a box with 2 pringles(chips) branded withthe #2BetterThanOne and a bottle of hawian water in the middle which indicates 2 things the incoming gpu is 2 full powered hawai chips(pringles and brand of bottled water), and the water indicates it being a hybrid cooled gpu at +1ghz stock(check asus ares 2 cards). for more info and updates check. wccftech.com/amds-secret-letters-more2betterthan1-r9-295x2-dual-hawaii-teasers/ www.anandtech.com/show/7881/amd-teases-dualgpu-video-card-once-more
 
Most likely 2x 280x or 290 cores, I am leaning towards the 280X cards though...having to cool 2x 290 on a single pcb is gonna be tough.
 
Obviously not 280X gpus... that would be the 7990.

I'm thinking dual 290X GPU's (Hawaii) with watercooling as standard.
 
yes it will be 2 r9 290x chips water cooled with a 120m rad and vrams aircooled like the asus ares 2 cards and thats just the refence model i hear, confirmation will be made on 27 march on a webcast
